Dog and Turtle Fight
The other day I heard some weird noises coming from my backyard. These noises were soon followed with intense barking so instinctively I got up to investigate. Turns out that my turtle and dog were in the middle of some sort of game/fight…. a dog and turtle fight! So I grabbed my camera because I knew the turtle was angry and ready for a fight.
Barely making it back in time with my camera I was able to capture the dog and turtle fight! They were scuffling for quite some time before I got out there with my camera, but you can sleep easy knowing both dog and turtle are ok.
In a one-on-one interview I got with the Husky I was told he got mad at the turtle for not going to the bathroom enough to meet his demands. I told the Husky to elaborate, but I wish I hadn’t because the Husky admitted to snacking on the turtles poop (A true fact… he loves to eat it, kick it, lick it and even throw it on you). Upon confronting the turtle with his desire for more turtle snacks, the turtle lunged and attacked out of nowhere.
The turtle was not available for interview. And yes I know its actually a tortoise.
As you can see turtles are quite vicious and he managed to rip some husky hairs out. Hustle was not harmed, but he was scared and still gets nervous around the turtle. I am still unsure if the dog was playing or trying to hurt the turtle I would love some feedback on his behavior. Also The turtle doesn’t have a name, but I think he deserves one now. I would love some good ideas!

I think it is safe to say the person who filmed this likes bug eyed dogs way too much. I’m all for dogs, but I think some people are taking their affection for them too far. Whats next a website for your dog? Jeesh…

It is a sad day in the world of Flea Biters today, sadly BB Lamar has passed away. You may remember BB Lamar from one of my first posts in which he is seen scratching his butt. Many people emailed me and told me he had worms, but we knew he didn’t. The true reason behind his grinding on the ground spin was due to the the fact his hip had deteriorated. From what we here at Flea Biters have been told there was no way to fix it other than an extremely expensive surgery. Now don’t get me wrong I love dogs, but sometimes you just cant afford the problems that may occur. For this reason BB Lamar was put to sleep. I believe it was the right decision, his pain was to the point where he was crying and even howling. Crying and howling was not BB’s style, he was one tough son of a gun and wouldn’t cry unless he absolutely had to.
RIP BB Lamar. You were a good dog, a little bit of an a-hole at times (he was and he knew it), but an overall wonderful and fun dog.
Rumor has it in heaven you can eat all the scooby snacks you want and not have to worry about your stomach touching the floor. May the snacks be with you.
